Batteryman vs Lightsworn.

Okay, so me and OnlyGodCanSaveMeNow have been having a debate. He says, that Batteryman can OTK quicker than Lightsworn, I say they can't, what do you guys think?

The LS has its moments back in its time but batteryman is the new otk king atm i think

depends on build

um batteryman CAN otk faster if not just as fast as Lightsworn, for a few simple reasons;
9v is op and breaks micro
The beaters in this deck are addable by 9v so its incredibly easy to get to your stuff

all you need is 1 micro and a fuel cell/charger. Set micro, flip, summon 9v, add charger(or fuel cell if you have charger), summon charger, eff, summon 9v, ss fuel and just like that you have 2100 +2000 +1000 +3000(charger gains 300 for each thunder, so gains 1200) on the board

ok, pls dont ask me about lightsworn because you can just ask judgment dragon.

the speed of batteryman is high or not depends your build:

A)fully otk deck
1)focus on otk
2)may even not run trap stun, because no space
3)less than 5 backrow card that can interface opponent strategy
4)the speed is very fast
5)will run 3 short circuit
6)if failed to otk, then can just wait for die.

B)semi-otk deck
1\many people like to build this type of deck
2)have backrow between 5-10
3)like to run monarch stormforth
4)run 0-2 short circuit
4)some time even tech artifact==(i dont like this, this is not fun at all)
5)some people like to tech tuner like genex ally birdman, masked chameleon and debris dragon(debris dragon is not very good)
6)even failed to otk, it still can try to win.

my friend elio have this type of batteryman deck.

C)batteryman beat down(this deck is insulting batteryman==)
1)run more than 15 backrow
2)tech card like traptrix artifact and hand
3)very diffucult to otk, may even never otk.
4)most of the time even never summon a batteryman monster.
5)this deck is for those people hwo want to win only==

i dont like this deck== if you want to build deck like this, pls dont tech batteryman, you just insulting 2 deck, it is hat and batteryman deck.

what is the most important card for a deck, it is searcher right? base on my theory (scrap)
s mean searcher. the Searcher increase a deck Speed, Speed is everything.

1)can his effect easily be trigger?
answer: yes, either normal or special summon, all can trigger his effect.

2)can his effect trigger many time?
answer: yes, it can be special summon from graveyard after you summon it because it will automatic destroy in your end phase.

3)this card suitable for this deck theme or not?
answer: yes, its effect is build for otk theme, also, batteryman deck have many card allow to special summon batteryman monster from:

graveyard: batteryman charger, portable battery pack and call of the haunted is normally what we run

deck:shining angel and batteryman micro-cell

recycle:recyling battery and quick charger

4)this card does not have any restriction?
no: unfortunally, effect is once per turn.

5)this card is unlimited?
yes, konami never ban batteryman 9v

the result is 4 yes 1 no, grade S to grade D, this card is grade A searcher for this deck^^

(it is impossible have a searcher is grade S, the fourth question's answer must be NO, thus, grade A already very good)

for lightsworn.... lightsworn no need searcher, it just mill all card to graveyard,so it searcher is not very good. but this deck Stablility is very good. but if you still want to know.....

See, people are saying Batteryman can OTK quicker than LS, but I honestly think those people are wrong. The fact you have to waste a turn to set up, shows that they're not quicker already. Lightsworn can OTK straight away, on their first turn. They don't need to waste a turn setting up like Batteryman do.
