You can also Xyz Summon this card by sending 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your hand to the Graveyard and using 1 "Dante" monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Material attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn, during either player's turn, except the turn it was Summoned this way: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; send 1 card from your Deck to the Graveyard. If this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (by battle or card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

Okay so this card is a better Downerd for Burning Abyss. The downsides I would say for this card is that it isn't a Burning Abyss monster but still a great card with it's other effects. To send any card from the deck to the graveyard except the turn it's summoned is broken (konami being fair ) So you can send Alich to negate cards like Nekroz of Trishula (Chain to ritual spell), Farfa to remove carts, Cir or graff to get more BA monsters, and many more. this card can even send good and evil and fire lake which is pretty amazing. So with this under dante when it's destroyed by an opponents card you get to summon a virgil or a fusion and get dante's effect to get any BA card from the grave to hand to make your virgil and fusion effects go off sending that BA monster you want to be send.

Because some people like to make their own cards. Bit of a stupid question really.

Then I think this will be a big help to the archetype, not that they overly needed it.
