Side decking!

I thought it might be fun for us all to name a side deck card that we feel is good. Along with also talking a bit about why we think it's a good side deck card, as it could help other people to build a decent side deck who may struggling.

I'll go first.

Mirror of the Ice Barrier.

I feel this card is often overlooked, and it's something that I like to personally put in my side decks. The reason for me using this card is because I feel it's a perfect answer to Nekroz of Trishula. When they summon Nekroz of Trishula and declare her effect, you can chain this card as it's a quick play spell card. They will then banish 1 card from your hand, 1 card from your field and 1 card from your graveyard. As you have chained Mirror of the Ice Barrier, you will then be able to banish up to 2 cards from their hand, up to 2 cards from their field and up to 2 cards from their graveyard. Another thing I like about this card is the part where it says "up to" which means you don't have to banish 2, you could just banish 1 if they only have 1 card in one of the certain places.

Oldie but godie.Its a floodgate and its not flexible but it can stop qlis,nekroz even those god damn batteryman, tribute stuns and monarch decks.Basically any deck that tributes That is why its a good side deck card,technically it could harm your deck aswell but unless you're playing those decks you will be mostly fine you could even try changing a bit of your deck mechanics with your side if you go with this.And its fairly unexpected by your opponents.
