or at least give the signers a CHANCE to win, dark signers can get their boss monsters out in like 1 second.

Every signer has the ability to forcedraw any card they want, at any time they want (once)....as well as the ability to outright summon a boss monster from the extra with no cost.

We have to tell you people BEFORE the match starts. No we can't summon our signer with no cost, when below 2000 LP we can summon the ultimayan and then our signer, so we have to take many more risks than the dark signers. Have you read the effects of your bosses? Mound of the bound creator is a field spell! You guys have 4 perks, we have 3, this is not balanced AT ALL.

| I have. You want us to summon a monster that that requires 2 tributes to summon, and a field spell, when you can summon out any of your bosses in easier succession?
You're blowing things entirely out of proportion. Every dark signer decks is FAR worse than the signer decks (with the exception of Luna). We have to focus on an alternate win condition over the EBIs. The only thing he gave us was the ability to have our field spells up turn 1.... that's it.

| So your saying, an overpowered monster, when you draw it, mixed with mound of the bound creator, is not op? Fortune Ladies? Infernities!? Those are amazing decks! Beast type deck is also a great deck! He gave you all 4 perks, and us only 3, we have to wait until we're below 2000 lp, how is that fair? You guys can summon your boss monsters in a snap. We can't add a field spell, without telling you BEFORE the match! We might add something we already have in our hand, mound of the bound creator and totally destroy us with your boss monsters! Reptiles can summon out many monsters for tributes, so can fortune ladies, and infernities too. | |

| 1) No one will run Mound because it conflicts entirely with every build dark signers have, except the Beast build and Reactor build. 2) Only 1 of those decks can consistently summon summon tribute fodder without wasting a normal summon 3) Stop complaining. | |

| Oh hell no. Beelze is way OP.
This tournament is supposed to recreate the struggle between the Signers and Dark Signers. If we're going to start throwing random cards that the characters never had NOR had access to, then the entire point is defeated.

| In fairness, I think you've got a point.
If Leo can have access to Life-Stream Dragon, then why can't Yusei and Jack have their Shooting Star and Red Nova? (But GODS NO QUASAR!!)

They can summon tribute fodders easily at some points, I HAVE, been there. 3) Stop interfering. 4) PLUS my signer dragon can't even freaking destroy the field spell because of your dark signer effect!

| Exactly. Once per duel, 2 duels in one match, we can add 1 card once per MATCH. | |

| My signer destroys field spells, either take that one off, or this tournament is going to be one sided, my signer can't even use her effect! | |

| Have to agree. Ancient Fairy Dragon's big thing was its Field popping power. Iirc, it was one of the reasons why it was being held in the Spirit World by Zeman. | |

She was being held captive because she was queen of the spirit world....for some reason. Anyway, the whole thing with the field, the Dark Signers need the ability to protect it. Without having any safe way to summon their EBIs (regardless of whether or not it's consistent), the Dark Signers get shafted. Outside of that, 2 of the Dark Signer decks literally cannot function without their respective field spell. Rendering the OPT non-destruction effect null renders these decks entirely useless. Conversely, if Signer dragons (mainly AFD and BRD) cannot destroy the field spell, then there is still a problem. But this can be corrected simply by saying that those dragon's effects are absolute. In other words, BRD and AFD can pop the field regardless of it's protection. As for other balancing issues, things should simply balanced on both ends, but yet make sense for each signer. 1) OPD, Dark Signers can add a field spell. OPD, Signers can force topdeck the card they state at the beginning of the duel Why that way? The good guys never add what they need. They draw into it. Bad guys simply...grab a portion of their key combos. 2) EBIs can not be reacted to if they are attacking Signer Dragon summons cannot be negated nor responded to. Why this way? This is mainly to end the confusion with the last Signer Clause. Also, if Dark Signers cannot respond to their effect activations, then the Signers have an uneven advantage. With some Signer Dragons, not being able to respond to their summonings and effects can render an entire phase null to Dark Signers I.E: M1 AFD is summoned. Dark Signers can't do a single thing during practically the entire Main Phase to protect themselves as their field spell gets popped, and their opponent get a free summon. 3) If Dark Signers get 2000 extra LP, then Signers should be able to start with 6 cards (if they're going first) 4) Raise the 2000LP bar that the Signers have to summon the Crimson Dragon to 2500LP. Out of all the testing that I've done (signers and dark signers alike), it's too easy to to set my opponent's LP above 2000, then end their game on my next turn. Raising the cap slightly may help. Raising it to 3000 may help more, but I am entirely unsure on whether or not it renders everything unbalanced.
