Rulings section (should we do it?)

A section where people can ask about rulings for certain cards.

yes but we only have 1 teacher...

I have this on my academy that I'm making and I think it's a great Idea so yeah.

How desperate are you for teachers?

definitely needed for a growing community like ours. but we must be able to digest the amount of ruling in a legitimate manner. also create a section for ruling requests and daily (small) ruling teachings. it should be active by all staff members. and perhaps even will assist in keeping our testers on their toes.

I think we need to look at DN Forums and take a similar system from there, as they have a working system with the ruling questions and stuff.

Posting links like that, doesn't mean anything. The point of this concept is that we have it on demand right here, for members of NA, so when they can't find a particular ruling online, which lets face it does happen a lot to members who aren't 100% on rulings, they can come here and post them, which brings the academy together to help members get better with their ruling knowledge.

If we actually do this,will we need a ruling teacher?

If we are gonna do such things, what is the use of teachers around this academy?

Well, I think we should have it so anyone in the academy has a chance to answer the questions given in this academy, but as soon as a moderator/administrator finds the best answer, then they can lock the topic and give note on which one was the best answer. As for the teacher part, they can still give lessons on things as usual, seeing as most of the ruling questions will probably be things like, "Evolsaur Dolkka vs Grave Effect", or something along those lines, where it's just a ruling question between two cards.

I'm not saying we are, I'm just giving my opinion on what we could do, but essentially, my idea is to use the a similar concept, yes. I think it is clever as it will benefit the academy. If you feel you have an idea, then please make a useful input as all you've been doing on this thread and the netdecking thread is making silly inputs.
