| Remember the egyptian god cards that were featured in the anime of the very first series of yugioh? At first it seemed like koonami made a horrible mistake and limiting and crippling the egyptian god cards.... but as it turns out, koonami might have done the right thing.....
I decided to do a test run with on ygopro by using the anime versions of the Egyptian cards on ygopro.... the purpose of the experiment was to see how well the anime Egyptian god cards would do in this format the results were devistating....
First off, firefist, constellar, etc. Once any of the god cards are out, there was littleraly nothing my opponent could do..... Heck my obelisk actually one shotted battling boxer user by powering up to infinity attack.....
In fact, from what it seems based of what I saw....there seems to be very few threats to the anime versions of the Egyptian god cards from this format.... Beelze beign one of them cause it could possibly take out an an egyptian god card.... of course you might have to wait a turn before doing so.... but thats if there is a next turn.
So in conclusion, it seems koonami has its reasons for limiting cards even if they could emergency ban them. |

| Yeah the anime versions eff are better like Card of sanctity allowing you to draw 6 cards but tcg only allows 2 | |

| Indeed, but think about how broken card of sanctity would be in this format... even though it works for both players, 6 cards is a lot... |

| Perhaps... but you see card of sanctity is activated on the the users turn... so since its currently the turn of the one who played it.... he/she will have the advantage..... Plus this would make alot of exodia users happy. |

| Nah by crippling the god cards they arent even used anymore, like ok fricking ban the card or make its eff worser but not so hard that its not played anymore (like now), also this was from the discussion me and phantom had lol | |
