Opening tournament this sunday

So the rules for this event are as followed:
Match format
YGOPro/Devpro/Percy
OCG/TCG
Deck switching is not allowed

In order to sign up, please post a reply to this topic with your username on Dev/YGOpro and sign up on challonge. If both are not done you will Not  be able to participate and may lose the spot.

There is a minimum of 12 people but I would realistically like to see 16 people or more.

This tournament will begin on Sunday at Noon -8 GMT PST(Time in California) the prize will depends on # of participants and how smoothly the tournament goes. It will be a good prize.

Please spread the word with other people and events regularly. I plan on hosting events like this at least every 3-4 days. Message me ASAP If anybody is having trouble with signing up. I'm here to help. Thanks.

It unfortunately is, for leaders(like us) the point of the tournament is to get members on here active and dueling. For you, it should be to have a good time dueling and encourage people to continue being active. That being said, It's allowed although highly discouraged for members to use them. For staff, I'm banning those types of decks.

Oh I asked to take screenshots for proof in case of disputes. I had to go visit someone in the hospital so I really couldn't get on in time. Next time It will be better planned.
We will be hosting 2 more events next weekend.

Changes:
1. I am going to have everyone who signs up for the tournament join the Duelist united discord chat and meet on there. https://discord.gg/Gm35KKB
2. I have someone that will help me with events and stuff in case something like this happens again. Like in case 1 of us are out of commission/something happens.
3. I will ask everyone to use their discord name in the duelists united, if you post in tournament chat and general chat looking for: _____ for tournament with no response in 10 min, you can advance yourself to the next round.

There will be much better communication from now on.

um that seems a bit well to be blunt stupid, point number 3. everyone has different time zones so as an example i'm EST USA, I know ray is in Australia he can waltz in at lunchtime for him be like where's JP... 10 mins later advance himself bc it's in the middle of the night for me? nah. better idea is to have group dms for each round between the TO (yourself) and the 2 participants for the round they are in. i.e you, me, and gracco for this round, where in that dm we would attempt to hash out the best times generally for dueling, bc of course things do come up. as far as the advancing yourself, my suggestion for this is, if you want to implement a self-advance do it however you see fit but with a condition that after the self-advance is initiated it needs a TO to confirm it and no response from the other player within 24 hours, bc things do happen. anyway, rambling aside, hope whomever you were visiting is doing better.
