The poll is now misleading and idk how to change it.  Players will no longer be adding a deck, but instead choosing one of their own as a private deck to use in the tournament.

Here is the tournament.  There are 3 decks that I will be providing, + players will choose 1 of their own personal decks making a total of 4 decks per person.  Players must submit a screen shot of the personal deck they are using to a moderator prior to the 3 decks being made public.  This screenshot will be used to verify the 10 card limit during matches.  Then the other 3 decks will be made public.  At this time players will then be able to make up to 10 changes total per deck between the main and extra decks, the side deck is not included in this limit.  Matches will proceed as follows: Before the match starts players will submit a screen shot of the deck they are using to a moderator, the decks will then be verified with the original to check for 10 or less changes and the match will start.   There are 4 decks, when a player looses their 4th game they are out, players go until there is a 3rd 2nd and 1st place.


* Players can pick which deck they want to use, but once a deck has been played, it cannot be chosen again until all 4 decks have been played the same amount of times.

* Players can modify a deck before they use it again, but a maximum of 10 changes from the original Main and Extra decks must be maintained.

* Players with more than 10 changes between the Main and Extra decks or who use a card in a match that is not in their screen shot will receive a disqualification and a loss of the match.

Simple Definition


You will get a random deck.  You have 10 mins to make changes to the deck before you will duel with it.  This will test your competitive deck building skills as well as how well you can navigate using decks.

What do you think should be the tournament style.  At 1st I was thinking a pt system 1 pt per game one, then once all decks have been played by each player then tally the pts for a 1st 2nd & 3rd.  But then if it goes to 3 games that creates an advantage.  

Another idea is lets say we get 5 to idk 7 or so decks in the pot, then what if we do it to where if you loose that many matches you fall off, so that way everyone can play each deck once and the last 2 to fall off are 3rd and 2nd.  

If we do it the 2nd way, one idea is that after all decks have been played by each person, players can then choose which deck they want to duel with from the pot, but they cannot choose the same deck twice in a row.

u cant really time a person because if they go over the limit you would either have to ban them or give them an advantage against somebody who followed the rule, so the tournament would most likely not work because there is no way you can force somebody to spend only 10 minutes on deck building as there is no consequence or measure set to prevent them from going over that time limit.

shrek has a point....10 minutes will most likely be the ultimate fail for this contest....

Hey, so been busy with the holidays... what about if we try for something next weekend. Ill have more information on this later this week + most likely a 4th deck to add to the public deck group.

I'd be interested in participating.

Great, one snag tho, internet is currently too slow, will be getting that fixed and everything should be good for next weekend, or possible an evening sometime this coming week.

Here's the idea as it stands so far.  

1) A dead line is established for participants to to submit a screen shot of a deck they are using to a moderator (most likely myself).  The deadline will most likely be either 9am or noon one morning.  These screen shots will be a key to be used to judge if more than 10 changes are made to your deck in a duel.

2) At the 9am or noon cut off a link will be posted to view the public decks.

3) players will have until the tournament starts that evening to modify the decks (per the 10 change limit) for their use in the tournament.

4) A random order will be chosen for matches as well as (using a random # generator 1-4) which deck a player will use in the match.  (when a deck is used it will be taken out of the # generator until all decks have been used the same amount of times)

5)  Before each match starts players will submit a screen shot of the deck they are using which will be verified with the original. Then the match will proceed. Matches will also be monitored using the screen shot as a reference.

6) When a player looses their 4th match they will be eliminated down to a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.


This tournament will test players deck editing and problem solving skills.  Since players will be adding a competitive deck of their own it wont be as simple to side for the public decks they know they will be facing, but must identify the strengths and weakness of each deck they will be using.
