Why there are no RP at thsi section ? I don't believe no one is watchign anime

There are many problems with having an anime RP:
1) Everyone wants to either be the main hero, or the villain with OP strats
2) It's extremely hard to control and balance the power curve
3) There are virtually 0 outlets to bring the RP to a new playground to make the RP seem more realistic... I.E: Yugioh, i can get people to physically play it to keep the story going; i can't make people play a card game to settle fights in a SAO environment.
4) Creating, and then obtaining originality. Anime is so vast that it is going to be difficult to maintain a sense of originality, as most people simply either become the main characters of other shows....or at least mirror them.


I'm addressing these issues with myself repeatedly, attempting to find solutions that are logical and entertaining. However, it's a very difficult task to accomplish. Anime isn't something that's proper to RP about with unless you have a D&D ( or something similar) format to force others to play on.

yea any fights in anime/non yugioh rps are complete bullshit.

this is true but there still can be decent Anime Rp's but i do believe the type of anime RP would fall under miscellaneous. even though there can be various types that can be good.
Say for instance
Role-player A wants to fight player B
the fight sequence would go as follows.... at least i think it would
Role-player A swings his blade at Role-player B in a vertical striking motion. -action 1
Role-player B swiftly dodges and retakes a ready stance. -action 2-
Somewhat good Rp's
how to distinguish Gmodding in fighting Rp's
"Role-player A swings his blade at Role-player B. Role-player B gets hit and dies" -action 1-
now i know that some people may not have the greatest grammar nor punctuation when it comes to RP
i know this first hand because mine is very bad. so yada yada yada ima make a Anime rp and if it doesnt Fall under Anime it will just go under Miscellaneous

I highly suggest that you PM me first about this before you simply go ahead and create one. I know you've had experience, but so have i....with the stupidest of people.

Hey guys, im new here but I think I have a answer to those problems.
There's this website I know about for Roleplaying that has a a DnD format for Actions. People start at lv1 and share equal amount of powers. There's racial bonus', 6 Different types of magic to choose from. Weapons you can create that's all monitored by Admins before approval to balance things out.

I'd like the link it but I don't know if that's against rules. Is it ?

Without it being approved by an admin, it would be against the rules I believe. However if you speak to an admin and they say it's fine, then by all means go ahead. Welcome to the academy.
