If they ran something like dark factory of mass production then it would hurt their consistency. You don't play this game defensively any more, you play to win or you will lose.

I agree with Troller, if you try tp play defensively you're probably going to lose, the only time you play defensively, is if your defense if your offence, and that is not the case a lot of the time. No such thing as playing for fun anymore, if you are playing for fun, you're not playing in rated.

hmm i play fun in rated but, it is smart to have something as back-up for if like in this case one of the pieces gets destroyed? just one card, like indeed factory

I don't see the point in trying to have fun in rated. It will reflect on your profile. Why not just duel your friends or duel people in advanced if you want fun?

Exactly, unless you really don't care about how your profile looks, then I guess it doesn't matter and you could play for fun in rated, but if you care then don't do it.

If you look at my profile, you can clearly see I use to play for fun a hell of a lot in rated, and only recently have stopped and just played competitively in rated.

but why would we even play if there is no fun, playing serious is for me also fun. And tbh i don't really care lol it is still a game and it will stay a game for fun....

But that's what the other modes are. Rated isn't for fun lmfao.

Rated is for competitive, and yes we have fun doing it, but it's strictly competitive and you can't play "fun decks" in it without definite losses.
