hello slifers,

your homework for this week will have 3 sections.

Section 1. Game-mechanics
Chain Links.
chain links gets used to activate, respons and resolve cards and effects.
Must know about chain links.
- Chain links resolve backwards.
- you cant activatee anything during the resolution of chains. ( when chain links are resolving)

example.
i activate Call of the haunted and target Artifact moraltach, then my opponent chains dust turnado to my Call of the haunted and targets Call of the haunted. now i have the oppertunity to chain anything thats atleast spell speed 2 or higher, i chain dark bribe to dust tornado and then my opponent uses Wiretap on my dark bribe. this is how the chain goes.
Cl1: CotH
Cl2: Dust tornado
Cl3: Dark Bribe
Cl4: wiretap.

Since chain links resolve backward. wiretap will resolve first and it will negate the effect of Dark Bribe and dark bribe will resolve with its effect negated. since dark bribe is negated. my opponents dust tornado will then resolve and kill my CoTH, since CotH is destroyed, like all other continouos spell/trap cards they wont get their effect if destroyed at activation. this keeps in that i dont get the summon.



your homework will be.

i attack with cyber dragon into a bujin yamato.
my opponent activates during the dmg step forbidden lance on my cyber dragon. i chain honest to the forbidden lance and then he chains bujingi crane to my honest.
CL 1 = forbidden lance
CL 2 = honest
CL 3 = Bujingi crane

solve this chain link correctly and tell.me who will win the battle and how much LP will their opponent lose.
Player A= controller of yamato
Player B = controller of cyber dragon.

further more i want you guys to make 5 more chain links and solve them in the correct order and effects without help of any human thing.
as last part i want you guys to think of a chain to make Number C101 miss timing when its destroyed and dont get to summon himself cuz he misses timing.
dp award for the above hw is up to 350 DP.

yes they can, but by doing that they will learn it and thats what am trying to accomplish here.

alright, so long for this weeks hw.

and for those who dont know how to make somestuff miss timing.
cards like fire/ice hand that need to be destroyed can be made miss timing. simply use any card and thena another card that can be chained that destroys stuf, like infernity break, Raigeki break, mirror force etc etc.

this is why it misses timing. since you cant use any cards when a chain link is resolving.
you will have to wait.

So lets say. i use Breaktrough Skill targetting a fire hand.
and chain Raigeki break to it. Break will resolve and destroying fire hand. at this moment fire hand should use his effect, but he cant because the chain link is still resolving. and when Breaktrough skill resolves. the fire hand wont be able to use his effect cuz like i said he had missed the timing when it was destroyed.
